The Department of General Surgery of the Children's Hospital of Fudan University is one of the largest pediatric general surgery centers in China. It is also an influential pediatric surgery training base in China.
It is responsible for the integrated management of clinical nutrition screening, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment throughout the hospital, conducting nutrition ward rounds, nutrition consultations and nutrition outpatient services.
The department currently comprises 11 physicians (including 3 associated chief physicians, 5 attending physicians, and 3 resident physicians) and 6 nursing technicians/technologists.
Department of Pathology at Children's Hospital of Fudan University was established in 1956 by Professor Zhu Changning, making it the earliest pediatric pathology center in China.
